Deluxe Bulky Superwash

$11.95

Deluxe Bulky Superwash is a great quality yarn for anything you want the benefit of machine washability. One skein for a hat. Two or three for a scarf.

Blankets work up quickly on a US 11/8mm needle. I designed a 40”x40” blanket for Welcome Blanket  in two colors. 6 skeins each color. Here’s a photo of the blanket in progress. There are many different patterns that can be created by putting the squares together in different directions. It’s fun to lay them out and play. It looks nice when you work it in lots of colors too.

The idea is taken from traditional quilt squares. Tap the photo for the free pattern on Ravelry.

Here’s a baby blanket Oh! Baby Blanket #2 by Edna Hart. She knit it with US 13/9mm needle and 5 balls of yarn. Colors in the sample are Burrow 931 - 1 ball, Ginseng 90 - 2 balls, Icy Gray 932 - 2 balls. Finished size 25” wide x 31” long.
