Punch Needle Embroidery Project Class (May 12, 1-4pm)

Make a beautiful Punch Needle Embroidery Project in this fun class!

Punch Needle is used to embroider items, create wall hangings, ornaments, pillows, rugs and other decor. Punch needle embroidery is created by using a special hollow needle to create loops of thread on fabric!

Ancient Egyptians were the among the first to employ this technique by using the hollow bones of birds' wings as needles. This technique was used throughout Europe during the Middle Ages, often to elaborately decorate ecclesiastical clothing and panels.
